This was quite a poorly lit photo originally, as the sun was setting, and the bird wasn't in direct sunlight. But the water was so smooth, and the reflections were amazing, so I made another effort at trying to salvage the photo.

The Te Awaite #whalers have had a wonderful season so far. Yesterday two right whales were captured. One measured 70ft [21 m] in length, and at the thickest part 12 to 13ft [3.6 to 4 m] through. The #Perano party has already taken 44 whales this season.
