Potted Mr. Avocado so he can spread his roots and give us avocados in 12 or so years 🥴. Also threw a bunch of money at Mahoney's so our balcony could look pretty and give us food too! 🪻🍅🪻🍅

I was hanging some fabric (double gauze and cotton homespun) outside. I don't have a dryer so everything hangs, so nbd. I check my gomphrena because I always do, and I have a bud!

If that's the only bud I get out of all the packets of gomphrena seed packets I went through, I'll be a happy bitch. And then I'll order some more, because now I know what to do.

Yall, if it flowers, you won't get me to stop gloating.

Jumped out of bed remembering I’d left a pot of thyme in its bottom-watering bowl - the poor thing’s feet would be wet all night! Got into the potting shed/kitchen; & saw it was even worse- the poor thing, which was undergoing emergency hydration after I’d found it dry & drooping, had slurped up all the water.

Now do I leave it maybe not all the way rehydrated; or do I refill the bowl & leave it with wet feet overnight?
