Hope y'all had as delicious of an NYE as we did (Row 34 is forever my favorite place to be a little fancy), and did silly things with friends and family (when does our new band Flying Sex Snakes start rehearsals?!). πŸ¦ͺ🍾πŸ”₯

Purging socials as part of Drynuary again this year. Love you guys, see you in February! πŸ–€

GBH is still fast as heeeeeck. πŸ–€

Pure effing JOY! This is my first time having a #shortstory accepted and printed anywhere, after many (many) (MANY)  rejections, after many (many) (MANY) years, something that wasn't nonfiction or one of my old columns or the fun music reviews, after switching to the (much harder!) #spookystuff, and I'm feeling really proud of myself. πŸ™‚

Fun #weekend with lunch at #mahaniyomboston to celebrate how long Joe and I have been bothering each other since that fatefully shared basket o' corn at the Sil 17 years ago 🍿. Also discovered perhaps the best Rye for a #Manhattan during our bud Aaron's double-blind taste test party (more Manhattans, please!). πŸ’

The annual #BigDandTheKidsTable #Halloween show is the cherry on top of seasonal spookiness -- I love that band so much. I dressed up as a grumpy 41-year-old 🫠.

Delightful night with beloved, heavily missed, old buds in town to see #Belly at Paradise -- night with Kurt, morning of hurt indeed πŸ₯΄. Ended the evening at #BarLunette, which I am now in love with -- none of you go, I want to always be able to get a seat. πŸ–€

The best, most fucked up, most interesting art is happening in horror. I finished this book a week ago and can't get the ending (the grief!) out of my head.

Thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who hung out at the Curely Mansion and donated and pitched in to the raffle and bid on the silent auction items to support Writers Inc, its fearless leader Ginny Lewis, and Writers Inc's patient-author kiddos -- yesterday, we celebrated the power of writing and art, and it was a treasure to see kindness and empathy and community support on full display. The board members of Writers Inc are humbled, appreciative, and love you for all of your help. πŸ–€
