Here we have my Kohlrabi plants again with their now big leaves. The tubers are finally starting to take shape. Not that I’m that keen on them, I’m growing these for my own supply of fresh greens. But of course the tubers are very tasty too, so they won’t go to waste as long as the pests leave them alone.

Potted Mr. Avocado so he can spread his roots and give us avocados in 12 or so years 🥴. Also threw a bunch of money at Mahoney's so our balcony could look pretty and give us food too! 🪻🍅🪻🍅

The other week I found some tiny kohlrabi plants in my local supermarket and thought, why not put them in my trough on the balcony. I wanted them mainly for the greens but some nice kohlrabi bulbs would be alright too. I was wondering whether I planted them out too early but they are growing. I’m hoping for the best 😄

Other than that I have thyme, marjoram, sage, chives and basil. In the edible department there’s also sweet woodruff which is trying to take over the whole trough… The rest is simply there to provide for the bees (and my eyes) but somehow I think I’ve fallen for some plants that were advertised as bee friendly but don’t deliver on that claim.
