Allright. It seems @Torx and @go8ose were right. If i ping my DDNS address i get 100% packet loss.
So my router firewall blocks all attempts although i configured port forwarding.
The Connectbox admin page is very unintuitive for me and i haven't found a good documentation/tutorial to set thing up, yet.
Disabling the router firewall is not an option for me because ovious reasons.
So i have to find a configuration in the vodafone connectbox that lets me have a firewall and lets specific ports open.
Searching for a to-do for wireguard.
EVERY tutorial i find is with fritzbox. I happen to have a Connectbox and though the overall approach is similar CB seems to have some "individualities".
Running the wireguard server in a proxmox container may or may not be part of the problem
I seem to get a connection but that doesn't transfer data for some reason.

Vodafone Connectbox hat ohne mein Zutun das Wlan deaktiviert und ich bekomme es auch im Browser Admin nicht wieder aktiviert.

Neuen #Kabelrouter von #Vodafone zugeschickt bekommen. Zuvor hatte ich eine #Connectbox von ehemals #Unitymedia, zuvor #KabelBW.
Jetzt ist die Verbindung höchst unstet; des Öfteren gibt es Aussetzer... auch das Überleiten zum #Pihole will nicht mehr, sogar ich an jedem Gerät manuell die IPv4 dahin eintragen muss.
Was mache ich denn jetzt nur? Eine #FritzBox anschaffen?
Werde ich die überhaupt je dann anschließen können?
Es ist mir fast unangenehm, aber ich bin da noch sehr unerfahren.
