@Jinjirrie

I'm going out later for a walk with a wheelbarrow to collect firewood. While I am out, I'll see if I can pick up a #cluestick for the federal front bench.

I like the weighty ones with a short angled bit near the end. Heavy enough for a good follow-through after impact, not so heavy as to risk me dislocating my shoulder.

It seems that they have trouble with even the simplest things, talking at them seems ineffective at this point.

@treleanor I suspect the party policy #FatimaPayman broke was the unwritten 'We will not respect the Greens'.

It is a strong policy position, and one that underlines the inherent self-doubt of the #ALP. As long as the ALP maintains childish hatred of the Greens, they will bleed votes (and members too!) across to the Greens.

It's very much relevant to #Makarrata. The ALP *could* say: you Greens, YOU do the running now. (We got basted by Murdoch on #Voice.) But you guys are crazy enough to have another go? Go you good things. Burn hard - off you go. We'll stand to one side, offer a free vote in the Parliament and be helpful in every way *except* ways that risk our own skin.

The #Greens are, can be, could be, a bloody great asset to the ALP. Someone over there just needs to trip over the #ClueStick.

#Comcast has been beat up by outages in my area for a few weeks now, so Mrs 404 officially blessed the backup internet project. Working on the #OpenBSD configs, and while I can easily do #ECMP for the uplinks, I'm not seeing a clean way to do the #VPN tunnels (ideally redundant connections to each endpoint, with one tunnel per endpoint routed over each uplink), unless I set static routes in an rdomain and configure the VPN tunnels there. #OSPF and #BGP mostly rely on the VPN tunnels, so really I have to solve those bits first before I move on to dynamic routing.

Unless of course I'm overlooking something silly (OpenBSD has a way of having idiotically simple solutions to problems, oftentimes), and someone happens to have a #cluestick with my name on it.

@[email protected] @slackerzombie @chadloder Now journalists’ tweets are suddenly second-class citizens on Twitter, or worse, so whatever engagement they were getting there is even less.

They are generating value for a guy who hates them and emails them poo. Who ranks them alongside RT and China state media for news sources. Who is training an AI, according to him.

If they did read their replies, they’d see the hate brigades are also worse.

Trying to figure out daily/weekly/monthly bandwidth usage on my #OpenBSD router... so far, got `pflow(4)` up and runnning as well as `snmpd(8)` with `nfsen` and `mrtg` which lets me see nice graphs of traffic, but I haven't yet figured out how to see a number of bytes transferred per day in/out of my router. My ISP sends me a nice report of this, but I want to verify their numbers with my own. What am I missing? #cluestick #netflow #router
