This building is adjacent to the house where #FriedrichNietzsche's mother raised him and his sister. Today, his childhood home is a museum, connected to this modern glass structure via an inner courtyard.

The #GrusonGewächshäuser (botanical garden in #greenhouses) in #Magdeburg features a lovely meadow of #wildflowers at the moment!

The garden was created by industrialist and plant collector Hermann Gruson, who bequeathed his extensive succulent collection to the city after his death in 1895. The greenhouses opened to the public in 1896. Today it houses 4,900 plant species.
