Are there stories of companies that moved (or tried to) from #M365 to on prem? I'd like to read some experiences. Rarely you hear of exits...
If I pretend like people are reading this far... 😉👋

I also wonder if the savings are quite as much for companies who make use of offerings like Cloud Run, versus ones who try to run managed kubernetes clusters.
There's lots to dig into in all this. My hope is that we don't see it cargo culted.

I've always loved the idea of public "cloud" since day one. I use it both at work and in my own projects. But I've always advised consuming cloud services in a very specific way to ensure best compatibility regardless of where code runs and data is stored.
The idea of #CloudExit intrigues me because despite being bullish on the cloud, I can see how the savings would manifest.
I can however also see the risks if companies were to adopt this philosophy en masse.
Musk has taken a cleaver to the costs and complexity at X. It hasn't always been pretty, but it sure has been effective, and in the process, he's proven his detractors wrong time and again. Not only has the site stayed up, despite hysteric proclamations that it would crater soon after his personnel changes, but X has been able to incre...
