Our CI runner is a bare-metal dedicated server with an AMD Epyc 7413 24c/48t 2.65/3.6 GH, 128 GB ECC 3200 Mhz RAM and NVMe SSD.

I have just configured a Mac mini M4 24GB as runner for Xcode builds.

Just for kicks, I also activated a docker runner on the Mac mini and handed it a random job.

That job takes an average of 4m40s to run on the AMD server.

It took 1m20s to run on the M4 Mac mini.
