Thought I’d share what 3rd party brushes, pens, pencils, and various effects tools I have used to date in Clip Studio Paint. I as create more and more complicated backgrounds and illustrations, having a deep library of tools to choose from is essential.

You must have @FRENDEN brushes. Great guy and even better tools. Find them here:

Brian Allen’s Flyland Designs has some very useful tools as well. His mega-pack at $6.99 for 220 brushes is a great deal.

I also have a set of Daub Brushes. There’s a set for whatever your style or need.

Over on DeviantArt, user Lapinbeau has a cool set of free drawing brushes. Free is nice, but I tossed them a few bucks at their Patreon page. We all have to eat, so if you like the brushes, consider supporting them at your own level.

Rober Marzullo has some nice pencil brushes. This pencil set is a “pay what you want” over on his Gumroad store. He also offer tutorials that may be handy to you as well. I’ve picked up a couple and enjoy them.

Here’s his main website which has a link to his Gumroad Store as well, plus you can view the tutorials he has available.

This is in no way a complete set of what’s out there, but these are the ones that I have tried and use. If you have some you like, please share them with me and others. That’s how we grow.
