Paleozoic/Cambrian Dragons

Draconizican scientists came to and from earth during the Cambrian explosion to take samples and creatures for study. In a way, earth was like their garden. Many experiments were conducted here, while other natural processes were sped up by their tinkering.

Eshu was overseer during this time, analyzing creatures like the spiny arthropod Marrella or the shrimp-like Anomalocaris with its two tusk-like appendages. These creatures were injected with draconic DNA from Eshu itself. Despite not being a water dragon, he spent his time at the beach while his other incarnations were inland, living with the other dragons.

Water dragons who came to earth and swam within the waters had often dropped microorganisms off their bodies. These microorganisms aided in the development of oceanic life. Some would say Eshu called them here, but them being feral means they cannot offer an answer to this question.

A species of unstable wyrms snuck to the planet and, with the poison from their bodies, polluted the earth. Morcudii was absent during this time and her rules was difficult for scientists and their guards to enforce. This event caused an extinction of some creatures from this era. One of Eshu’s incarnations felt Eshu’s anger with this, and personally killed some of the poisonwyrms, stabbing their heads onto spikes.

The wyrm mostly responsible for leading this, Ferrena, was known for causing large scale public disturbances on the homeworld. Her influence spread amongst thousands of wyrms. They were kicked off the homeworld and somehow found themselves on Earth! Today a small number of their descendants remain, with most (that were catalogued so far) being feral.
