What adults don't understand is that #teenagers are CONVINCED we're going to die young. Teachers in their 40s say "when you're my age" and students interrupt with, "If we make it that long." My dad says it's irrational, "how exactly will #ClimateChange kill YOU?", but this is the reality of the mindset of the youth.
The #climateclock is ticking - high schoolers today expect to graduate college into an unsavable world. (even though after official 'deadlines' won't be 'apocalypse forever') After decades of pathetic effort, we have no reason to believe anybody powerful will stand up to profit before 1.5ºC, 2.0ºC, 2.5ºC...
