The #Liberals and #Nationals are showing a brave face with up-beat cheer-squads for #NetZero destroyers, but #renewables and #EnergyStorage will win out. Their each way bet on pretending support action on climate while simultaneously abandoning urgent action reveals their lack of authenticity. Australians will not vote for #Nuclear advocates and #ClimateChangeDeniers, and I predict they will go backwards at the next #election - we won't miss them. US #Senate votes to block #California 2035 #ElectricVehicles rules

The Senate on Thurs voted to bar California's landmark plan to end the sale of #gasoline-only vehicles by 2035 that has been adopted by 11 other states representing ⅓ of the US auto market.
The vote sends the measure to #Trump to repeal a waiver granted by the #EPA under President Joe #Biden in December, allowing CA to mandate at least 80% #EVs by 2035.
