Repetto in una intervista a Il Corriere della Sera ha confessato di aver già visto la seconda stagione della serie targata Sky tutta dedicata alla storia degli 883.
“Sono veramente io nella serie alcune cose mi hanno stupito in modo incredibile. – ha detto – Ho potuto vedere per esempio un pezzo della seconda serie in anteprima e Matteo Giuggioli, l’attore che mi interpreta, nelle scene a Los Angeles ha fatto esattamente le stesse mosse che io feci da un produttore cinematografico ‘malavitoso’. Ha avuto la mia stessa nonchalance di 33 anni fa, ha beccato in pieno tutto di me”.
Sull’ex manager Claudio Cecchetto: “Senza nessuna polemica, da spettatore sul divano, Claudio Cecchetto non è stato dipinto com’era, non è all’altezza del suo ruolo, anche fisicamente: lui era un torero, non gli è stata data l’importanza che aveva avuto. In fondo ha creduto a scatola chiusa in due provinciali come noi. Aveva un carisma incredibile, era un torero e un businessman illuminato, si faceva fatica anche a incrociare il suo sguardo”.
Nessun rimpianto per l’addio: “Io ero il numero 2 e contentissimo di esserlo, ero un po’ chiuso nella mia bolla con i capelli sempre pettinati, con il rumore del phon: ero in una casella, nel team avevo quel ruolo e l’ho fatto con piacere. L’energia ce l’avevo dentro. E non ho mai avuto rimorsi sul mio addio, non ho mai speculato: in quel momento mi sembrava logico andare negli Stati Uniti, avevamo sempre parlato del resto con Max della bellezza degli States”.
