Google provides its analytic services to healthcare providers, so they have to send it information. Were they sending Google too much information, violating HIPAA. The District Court allows claims relating to pre-2023 conduct to proceed.
@Wrewdison #ClassActions are a failure because they don't force a company to undo or even stop the violating practises.

@GreenRoc I think it's really stupid for #YouTube not wanting a million channels making $5 per month but rather 5 channels making $1M.
Because channels making millions won't wait 12 months to get paid, but a $60 payout threshhold is acceptable with the small channels.

Non-#US residents don't get a #ClassActions' payouts! They won't even get a cheque that they can actually deposit, much less one that'll cover the processing fees even before cheques have been dead [since 2005 (last issued chequebooks) 2007 (last checkbooks expired in validity)]…
I'm pretty shure @Bundesverband has never heard or seen of a "Class Action Settlement Cheque" being granted to a Non-US - citizen residing in Germany.
