Do you know of any listed highways? I didn't until recently. These 680 paved meters are what's left of national highway Route 2 in the south of Sweden. In the 1930's, the old dirt road was paved to meet the demands of increasing traffic and heavier vehicles. The center strip is marked in darker stones. Coming here really sends you to another time and pace.
