Merchant navy officer killed by wife, lover; body dismembered, sealed in cement-filled drum

A MERCHANT NAVY officer was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife and her lover, his body dismembered and sealed inside a drum with cement in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, police said. His remains have been recovered and the two accused arrested.

It wasn’t all bad all the time, was it?

No, it generally isn’t the process we go through. We have wonderful moments of euphoria when meeting another human. This experience tends to go many ways. Some will mate for life; some will mate for a moment and others will mate for a certain period. Aha, this is where things get interesting.  We need to wonder how and when things go sideways. This is most often due to infidelity, cheating, and a general loss of interest in the relationship followed by cheating and infidelity amongst our partners.

If you have been cheated on or if you have performed the act of cheating, well good on you for screwing things up for your loved one. Okay so now that, that is out of the way…

It was not all bad, was it?

I mean at one time you were, or you said you were in love with your ex. Yes, we all remember the bad things they did to us… But what about the good things? Someone commented on my ex on TikTok and I had to correct them.

“You can’t let go of your ex?”

Are you F*cking kidding me? I have not spoken to the woman in over 15 years. Yes 15 years, zero communication in any form. You are telling me I have not let go. Oh, I let go a long time ago. When she left the kids and me, I let go of her faster than a hot potato. At the same time, we must admit that, once you and I were in love with our exes. If you were not, then you were using them. Let’s face those facts.

The Good Stuff?

Well, I got two kids out of that relationship, I am to this day a single dad. However, I did have good times and without my ex, I wouldn’t have my kids. Without my ex, I wouldn’t have discovered Indonesia. I would not be living in Indonesia.

My writing, my books may have never seen the light of day if we were not involved in the film industry as she was. Yup, there are some things I need to thank her for, despite the bad breakup and divorce. So yeah, not all is doom and gloom and not all is as bad as it seems. We all need to learn from past experiences. Next time you get into a relationship, make sure you use and understand the past and what you should have learned from your exes.
