Drawings from the workshops I taught at the Cartoon Art Museum yesterday. Since it was recently Will Eisner week, we did some spirit-esque detective character, of course this one had a head of a rooster and a peg leg, and a third eye. Eye. For the later adult class. We worked on exaggeration and simplification, and it created a fire-powered magic baby.

Today I got teach at the new location of the Roseland Library near Santa Rosa. The last time I was at the previous location was in 2019, so I was pleased to see a newer, bigger space.

I had a wonderful experience teaching such great young artists!

This is my last workshop in the Santa Rosa area, one of my favorites, but I hope I get a chance to return in 2024.

One features the different emotions of a ghost elephant and two superhero chefs. The other are scenes that we draw, having a character expressing emotion and other reacting to them.
