K1 (13) hat einen Linux PC und programmiert schon seit Jahren super Sachen mit Scratch und mit Caliope. Sie ist auf mich zugekommen und würde gerne mehr programmieren lernen. Ich habe davon keine Ahnung und wo wir wohnen gibt es keine PC-Treffs oder so. Habt ihr einen Tip, für das nächste Level (Bücher, Programme, Online Kurse oder so)?

Only thing. Whilst there is a broadcast feature on this, I honestly would think it might be a bit clumsy to play dj with this, since I doubt you can make tracks crossfade, plus, no easy way to put in voice breaks. But I might be wrong on that score. #Caliope.

Hmmm, I take that back. Internet must have been down for a sec there, hense no search results and no playing. But yeah, this #Caliope looks like a great alternative to Winamp with a little extra, definitely a media player designed with the blind in mind.

So, not sure if he's only allowing #Caliope to work with certain radio streams, or what. Have not as of yet tried the main media player, although, I had to make sure when installing that #Caliope was set as registered to play the various formats listed, should one try playing from within file explorer. Can't make that adjustment in settings. But, yeah, so far, it's the interface for accessing Youtube that shines the most.

I like thus far, the interface it has for accessing Youtube. I notice when I bring up a channel, it looks as though the videos are placed in chronological order, with newest first. I love that. I've not tried the dl part yet. I tried the radio stream, and so far, have not been able to successfully play #MushroomFM on it, not in the searches, and when entering it in manually off pls file, absolute nothing burger. tbc
