The open source aspect of the business source license to me is – that’s just a fop that people throw to themselves to make themselves feel better…

Because when was the last time you talked to a developer and said:

“Hey, here’s a project. Do you want to go use a version that’s two, or three, or four years old?”

No one wants to do that, ever.
