From the moment the #SiliconValley #TechBro #BusinessIdiot class learned there was interest in the #GenerativAI carnival trick, they wasted no time in directing all their power to extracting every tangible output of human labour they could contrive to feed into its maw

and, surprising no one, they did it without a thought for #consent or attribution or compensation, not even notification that they're doing it. When called on the outrage, they arrogantly insist they've got the right to do whatever they like without asking anyone.

If anyone doubts these sociopaths need to be told “no” with legally-enforced finality, that should be sufficient.
