PSA seems like the MEP pages of the #EP have a new html layout, scraper is b0rken, working on a fix. someone is working hard for their EU pension doing invisible but billable work, that pisses me off and wants to nuke it all from orbit. frmbl grmbl.

just fixed the OEIL scraper (again!), someone who needs to justify their EU bureaucrat salary and pension had spent the (half) effort and renamed some (not all) css classes starting with "erpl_" to "es_", which of course we use in our xpath expressions and which thusly broke.

anyway big thanks and hugs to the kind person who reported the failing scraper to us. ❤️

Dat terwijl contant geld…

I am surprised to see many folks cheering about the end of mandatory #chatcontrol, at least under the Danish EU Council presidency. But "voluntary" chatcontrol is just as evil, since it would not be targeted to specific suspects, but affect all users of that communications service. Yes, it is a step in the right direction, but by far not good enough.
