TomChick update. I put the forth one in with the others this morning. It's getting along ok, not eating yet but it's about a day behind the others. The others only started eating mid-morning today.

I'm using a ceramic heat element in a reflecive porcelain sockets light fixtures.
The purpose of the metal grate is to keep cats out not chicks in. Once the chicks can have closer to normal temps they get moved to a wire cage.
