Es sei erwähnt, dass in dieser Zeit die unheilvoll paranoide und rücksichtslose #Thatcher / #MargaretThatcher in #GB an der Macht war, die zu diesem lächerlichen, spätkolonialen #Krieg u.a. ihren #Tory-Parteigenossen Kenneth Clarke (lt. Dokumenten aus dem Thatcher-Archiv) zitierte: „Hoffentlich denkt niemand, wir wollten gegen die Argentinier kämpfen. Wir sollten ein paar Schiffe in die Luft jagen, aber sonst nichts.“ So einfach ist das für die obersten, politischen Führer, egal, ob man für oder gegen einen solchen Krieg ist. 1000 Tote waren die Folge dieses Krieges. An wen erinnert das?
