At long last I have finished the Book Thief. It was good, but a difficult subject so I had to pace myself. Definitely recommended, but a book about growing up under fascism is rough so be warned.

I also got distracted by The King of Elfland’s Daughter. And some BattleTech short fiction.

What should I tackle next from my To Be Read pile?

Finished reading The Wicked Day. It does a great job of making Mordred sympathetic and the fateful clash with Arthur to be a series of unfortunate events. It’s a great finish to Mary Stewart’s Merlin series.

Started reading The Book Thief. I knew nothing going in. I guess a tragic tale of growing up under fascism is just what we need right now.
