IoT Platforms for Makers

I’ve been looking at several Internet of Things (IoT) cloud platforms to support a new series of connected projects. The ideal platform would have a no-subscription (free) option as well as an affordable paid tier that offers expanded resources when a project requires more. My intended audience of students, makers, scientists and artists will want to get started quickly, with low complexity and an easy path to early success.

Objetivo conseguido! Puedo cambiar el color de las luces de Navidad desde cualquier dispositivo con #Blynk. Muy divertido para aprender sobre:
- Bucles, para recorrer todo el array de LEDs.
- Diferentes formas de codificación del color.
- comunicación serie (entre #arduino y #esp8266).
- Librería de timers.

After some tests and clicks I did it! My #relay module with old #ESP01, previously created and intended to use with #Blynk (the old version, supported till the end of 2022), today with #Tasmota 9.2 on board, works exactly as I designed it, with link-LED and NO relay in reverse logic on GPIO0 and GPIO2. Without destruction of PCB etc.
Some kind of success :D

Adicionalmente, hay sensores conectados a la #ESP32 que trasmiten datos de temperatura, humedad y presión atmosférica para poder monitorearlos con #Blynk.

So, at work. It will be busy day. I prepared my #RPi as #MQTT broker, #Blynk server (old style, officially unsupported, but many of my projects run with it) and with #Tor support. Hope l'll find a short break for deploying my #IoT platform ;)
