The forecast indicates that widespread exceptional deficits will decrease in size in Brazil, but still remain in western, central, and southern regions of the country. Deficits in the Bolivarian Nations will diminish in intensity, but still remain as moderate to severe deficits.
"#Canada is expecting a #hotter-than-usual #summer with slightly below-average #precipitation in central Canada. Last year, Canada experienced its worst-ever #fire season, with more than 6,600 #blazes #burning 15 million #hectares."
These #fires also led to mass #airquality issues in #Canada and the #UnitedStates. Low levels of #snowfall and widespread #drought prompted officials to warn of another potentially “catastrophic” #summer. Read more:
