As a new home owner I'm now realising that when a tradesman says he will come "back end of next week" that is workman's code for "whenever I can actually be arsed, but i likely just won't turn up at all"
If only Britain still had that swathe of Eastern European Trades people. They were reasonably priced, professional and turned the fuck when they said they would.. #blameBrexit
