I will always warn people off attempting to carry #bladeless versions of common pocket #knives and #multitools through #TSA #airport security, for the very simple reason that they cannot be easily distinguished on scanners as being bladeless. If they are flagged by #security, it gums up the works for everyone.

If you present them openly, they *still* have to take the time to manually inspect them, wasting everyone's time and distracting security personnel.
