BIG day for @Bigrigtravels as he completed the (should be) final revenue-generating trip last night before heading home to Danville, IL today to start unloading and removing his equipment from The Blue Comet.
He will officially retire on Saturday, April 11th.
Tomorrow, he acquires a new RV that was fully inspected with a few minor repairs completed prior to being signed off on.
Congratulations on twenty years of being a safety-first Knight Of The Highway.

Another snag for @Bigrigtravels today, after having some unrelated issues yesterday. But, thankfully, he has made it to a Love's and is on a short wait list for a trailer tandem repair to this current shipment he just picked up (that was found connected to another truck which itself was hooked to a tow truck). Quite the day it has been, but Steve's in pretty good spirits all things considered. #BigRigTravels

As well, @BigRigTravels has been on a multi-day and multi-state "wild trailer chase", trying to locate an empty to complete a shipment. He had a trailer, but after going to the shipper, had to return right back to the starting point as it was allocated elsewhere. He drove bobtail (truck only) to a truck stop hours away to discover no empty trailer there, either. He also had no luck picking one up at two other distribution centres. We'll see what happens tomorrow. #BigRigTravels
