It's official!! We just took possession of the new 2026 Entegra Odyssey 31FF for BigRigTravels 2.0!
BIG day for @Bigrigtravels as he completed the (should be) final revenue-generating trip last night before heading home to Danville, IL today to start unloading and removing his equipment from The Blue Comet.
He'll be officially retired on Monday.
Tomorrow, he acquires a new RV that was fully inspected with a few minor repairs completed prior to being signed off on.
Congratulations on twenty years of being a safety-first Knight Of The Highway.

An analemma is a plot of the position of the Sun as viewed from a fixed position on Earth at the same clock time every day for an entire year.

The lowest point of the analemma occurs close to the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere.

Although we've officially been in winter mode here the past couple of weeks, the #mbstorm outlook for tonight into tomorrow will certainly make it a blizzard-y winter wonderland. Enough snow for plenty of snowballs but will be kinda cold for them to hold together very well as snow becomes more grainy or powdery the colder it gets.

At least @emmamckeon had some fun with them during her recent visit to Switzerland (she needed to wear her entire wardrobe to keep warm):

After last year's absence due to the #CanadaPost strike in 2024, was greeted with the thirty-nineth annual #Xmas card from my old neighbour today.
It's entitled "Christmas Day" and was a pleasant surprise to see after the last four, which cycled through the Sundays of Advent via different coloured candles that were inscribed in English, German, Latvian, then English once more.
Glad to see another card, as I've always enjoyed them. #Christmas #ChristmasDay #ChristmasCard #Tradition #Handmade

Zuckerberg has blown 77 billion โ€“ enough money to revitalize entire countries โ€“ on an idea so overwhelmingly, obviously stupid that I have never once heard anyone, from the Thanksgiving avuncular table to the most wretched depths of social media, say they liked it or even tried it. He was so sure that it would revolutionize the world that he renamed his extremely famous company after it. And now he's on to the next thing that he's so very, very sure about.

The world needs direction from sober people who aim to improve the human condition, not the whims of a handful of billionaire princelings who absolutely, positively cannot be dissuaded from failing at unprecedented scale while chasing their own vainglory off the edge of a cliff.
