Yesterday I went on a hike and scoped out a few small towns and gathered camping spots... was a good day. Today, rain wind and tornado watches!

Hope you're having a great weekend. I know we were supposed to do our 6pm broadcast but I gotta cancel it. I am out and about and not going to make it back to town in time. I will reschedule it soon.

Join us Saturday morning for the Last Ride of the Blue Comet. This event will be broadcast live as the Final Ride starts in Danville, Illinois and ends in Gary, Indiana where we officially retire and turn in the truck. AND...the big question of the day.... Did BigRigSteve find his glasses he lost in the truck last December? Nope!

Hey, I haven't forgotten about the best road crew. Today the RV is parked next to the Blue Comet while I finish the last bit of moving out of the truck and doing some heavy cleaning!

Hey, I apologize for not broadcasting the test stream yesterday in the RV. I really had plans to do that, but yesterday was such a whirlwind of activity. Between the final inspection and all the paperwork involved, it was a very long day! By the time I got back to the Danville area, it was after 9pm. I can tell you that the 190 mile trip home was AWESOME. It handles very nicely and on the backroads it got 9.2mpg. Very smooth and exciting first drive! 👌

It's official!! We just took possession of the new 2026 Entegra Odyssey 31FF for BigRigTravels 2.0!
