@mosgaard For a while I had a serious Waves plugin addiction. Fortunately they went subscription and p1ssed everyone, including me, off. So I kicked the addiction.
These days I use the builtin effects in Reaper plus a few free extras. Those being SPAN, a VU meter and the headphone correction plugin from #beyerdynamics.
Instead I use the money on my microphone addiction :)

na ja bei #Sennheiser hat schon vor Jahren die Enshitification begonnen , nach 2 Jahren löste sich bei mir der lederartige Überzug an den Ohrmuscheln, #beyerdynamics war die bessere Alternative. Allerdings sind die mittlerweile auch verkauft werden, bleibt abzuwarten was da kommt.

Today, I rediscovered my inner #audiophile. Do I mostly use #AirPods Pro over Bluetooth? Yes. Are they mediocre? Also yes, but they're so incredibly practical 🙈
However, because my #fairphone 5 doesn't have a headphone jack, I had to buy one of those adapter thingies. And now that the adapter has arrived, I needed to test it, of course. And that's how I ended up in my bed, with my #BeyerDynamics headphones listening to #Foals' #SpanishSahara again 😍

Meine Frau hat sich nun entschieden, (endlich!) wieder Online-Radio zu machen!

Leider ist ihr altes Equipment nicht mehr vorhanden.
Das Mikro hat sie schon zu Weihnachten bekommen. Nun folgen eine #Behringer Soundkarte, der #Tuxedo-Rechner wird heute bestellt, in #UbuntuStudio arbeite ich mich parallel an einem alten T410 ein (Jack und sowas), die Kopfhörer (#Beyerdynamics DT-770 pro / 80 Ohm) sind schon unterwegs. Bildschirme mit und ohne Touch ebenso.

Das wird mal wieder ein Projekt... ;-)
