Each #evening I'm accustomed to feeling quite #bereft. No emotions remain after a day spent submerged in the milieu of my parents' social mixers and events designed to win someone's hand on my behalf.

Tonight is different. There was a boy, you see, and there has never been a boy. The brother of one of my potential brides. I have never seen such animated socializing. Mother called it a #tangent, though I was quite enthralled.

If I express interest in his sister I may see him again.

Summer evening, reminiscing, past held our friendships strength.

Aimee sat curled up, her arms around her knees, & wept, utterly #bereft.
"You must eat," Velurri said.
She shook her head.
Against her will, her body got up, walked to the table, & began to eat. She tried to gag as her mouth chewed & swallowed the food, but she was a prisoner in her body.
When Velurri relaxed his control, she tried to jam her fingers down her throat to vomit. Using the familiar bond, he took control again. Her arms dropped nervelessly to her side.
