I see Dr. Mate's "Irreducible Needs" mirrored and explained according to the Chakra system. According to Anodea Judith, there are 7 fundamental rights of the soul and 7 demons that result when we distort the loving growth of the soul.
Judith writes, "The quickest way to minimize the divine within is to interfere with it's basic rights." These are the rights we are reclaiming as adults through mind/body healing.

It's amazing to me to see beliefs and perception of mind/body connection and energy modalities being championed by some sectors of science.
This union is not new, as Dr. Gabor Maté says in "The Myth of Normal". The understanding of mind body connection with the whole of the universe has been a common place acceptable truth in the Eastern world view for millennium.
Apparently, the West is catching up.

It's kind of funny how we think of "personal best/personal growth" as being something different than who we are; when it's actually removing anything that stops us from accepting the truth of who we have always been.
The truth of you is more amazing than anything you could add on your own. There is no mistake to you. There is only our own mistaken limits that we believe are true.
