FredThe criticisms of #BEDMAS are just the surface of them problems with #math classes in elementary/high school. They don't actually teach math, they teach steps and memorization. Students are unprepared to deal with novel problems, because they're taught to memorize, not understand. And this is just the surface of the problems with school in general.
