@dhry: I occasionally switch my RamaWorks U80-A #dailydriver for a new #mechanicalkeyboard in my collection, often a staggered 40%ish w/QMK, like recently: https://chaos.social/@xtaran/112040709394859161

Switching to my #beamspring TKL actually already happened multiple times.

I also have different daily driver keebs @home (TKL+trackball, clicky) and @work (60% w/thumbstick, silenced tactile). And I do have a 40% keeb (TVK MiniVan) always with me in my daypack. But I only use it if I have to type a lot on the laptop.

Attached: 1 image New #MechanicalKeyboard day! It's a #Kiser Monorail 45% #keyboard which I recently bought from @opendev on #40sDay in the Fediverse. I've put #HolyBoba switches in the #Kailh #hotswap sockets and put MiTo's GMK Laser keycap set plus some novelties on. And yes, the #KiserMonorail is #V4N4G0N compatible, so it's my fifth keyboard with #TheVanKeyboards #Minivan-style layout. It runs #QMK on an #RP2040 and uses easy peasy #Vial for configuration! #TVK #TVKMinivan #NewKeyboardDay #40percent

And now to something complete different, this time for the #MechanicalKeyboard crowd: One and a half week ago a new gem arrived: My Round 1 "Brand New #BeamSpring #SSK" by #ModelFLabs.

A few days ago I found the leisure to complete the setup as documented on https://www.modelfkeyboards.com/manual/#elementor-tab-title-1167 (although I didn't find a single non-working key). Using it as my daily driver for now. So far it feels and sounds great!

No sound sample here as my phone's mic wasn't able to properly catch that nice bassy sound.
