A pity it’s #autumn and all the #bats have gone to sleep until next year but - y’know -small victories 🤷‍♂️👍

The supplied power solution (3xAA batteries) is a bit last century so I might have found a use for some of those salvaged #vape batteries at last 😏

Earlier this year I was so stoked to find bats flying around in my neighborhood at twilight and even right out my front yard. And then recently I found this cheap bat detector kit and I’m doubly stoked. It’s ultrasonic!
It took me several nights to get the frequency dialed in and tonight I finally got a good lock, and I’m even more stoked that I managed to capture it in a halfway decent video! 🦇
