So in this year, I have moved my site around so much and I think that I am going to move it in the New Year. I don’t want to experiment with my main site, I want to have a final iteration of it first. I’m thinking Zola (as I felt more at ease with that).

I’ve used:

If there is any other SSGs that people know about and recommend, I’ll give them a go and then make a decision. But I do think it’ll be a Zola site.

Hmm, think I'm going to migrate all my #BashBlog posts over to Sutter, I really like the ability to generate a gemini capsule at the same time if you write the source posts in gemtext instead of markdown. Which isn't a massive change, just be a few edits to some posts as I manually migrate them over, and some tweaks to the CSS for continuity (which it embeds in the html pages, which is nice) and then it'll be half the work instead of manually updating gemini which I rarely got around to.

I created it because I wanted a very, very simple way to post entries to a blog by using a public folder on my server, without any special requirements and dependencies. Works on GNU/#Linux, OSX and BSD.
