Feeling like I got part of the puzzle for installing Pelican. I installed it in my virtual environment (/var/www/html , with Pelican occupying a folder called "pelican-sandbox).

I was able to create a page with a text file .rst.... Seems I did do the publish command successfully but sadly, it seems that pages can only be accessed via /var/www/html/pelican-sandbox/output. (rst file is stored in pelican-sandbox/content)
