Mauricio Tabe, alcalde de Miguel Hidalgo creó la Dirección Ejecutiva de Medio Ambiente y Sustentabilidad para colocar en la agenda de gobierno como una prioridad el reverdecer la alcaldía para contribuir al cuidado del medio ambiente.
Desde el camellón de Horacio, Tabe presentó al titular de esta nueva área que estará a cargo de Sergio Aburto Sánchez, quien coordinará los esfuerzos para responder de manera proactiva a los retos globales como la pérdida de biodiversidad y el cambio climático.
“Entró en funciones el primero de octubre de este año con la finalidad de poner en la agenda del gobierno una de las prioridades, el reverdecer la alcaldía y el poner nuestro granito de arena para cuidar nuestro planeta. De esta forma, que Miguel Hidalgo siga siendo la alcaldía más verde en la Ciudad de México con los mejores parques, jardines y camellones”, dijo.
Agregó que el esfuerzo por reverdecer Miguel Hidalgo consiste en aumentar los 660 espacios que han sido adoptados por particulares y que han hecho que la alcaldía deje de erogar 14 millones de pesos al año, pero también, poner especial atención en las obras de mitigación que realizan los desarrollos para aumentar el número de áreas verdes que reciban mantenimiento o saneamiento.
Tabe, dijo que un segundo eje consiste en reducir la basura, emitir menos basura como gobierno y como alcaldía de materiales no reutilizables, reciclar lo que sea posible y fomentar su reuso. –sn–
