Knud JahnkeI still find it ... curious, but very #astronomy on-brand that one of the prime and best studies stars with earth-sized #exoplanets is named #TRAPPIST1, which comes from the telescope #backronym name that it was discovered with (Transiting Planets and Planetesimals Small Telescope), which of course is Belgian, since #Trappist #beer is a signature drink in #Belgium.
So we have exoplanets, named after a beer, named after an order of #monks, named after a city in #France.
