I read this piece all about going to what I'd call an anti-vaxx/religious event. The author spent days watching, listening, letting people bend his ear with all kinds of nonsense.

What the reporter said that stuck with me was the event was more about "giving testimony," concocting answers to why their loved ones died, or were born #autstic , laying blame somewhere that gave them comfort.

Now, I'm not saying "have a heart," just that they're searching for meaning & science ain't it.

I spent half an hour talking to my mental health worker and then an hour on the phone to my ex sister in law (she doesn't speak to her either).
