Targeting people who read left->right (ie EN) and are #dyslexic is it better to have a form or row label
* left aligned (for the average person)
* right aligned (so its harder to read the wrong label to the row)
* it depends on screen size
* tunable maybe?

Cisco website was really bad for this in 2010 era, no idea if they fixed it yet.

One of my colleagues mentioned today that her #dyslexic girlfriend uses #ChatGPT to rewrite her emails, as she struggles with both letters and numbers. Before, she was dependent on her parents and friends to proofread any important communication.

Isn't that empowering and a great use of #LLMs?

I am #dyslexic / I have #dyslexia
I am #dysgraphic / I have #dysgraphia
I am #prosopagnosic / I have #prosopagnosia

everything at a manageable level.. but:
β€’ I can't read long texts... more than 5 lines I need to read it many times, I skip lines or words... I misread words
β€’ I can't take notes by hand, I prefer to type, I can't read what I wrote hours later
β€’ I have a hard time distinguishing faces... if they change their style, if they look like someone else, I don't recognize them

@UlrikeHahn Uhhmmm... when I got my undergrad degree back in 1986, I just submitted a 70,000 word dissertation (and sat three in person exams for my minor courses, but I don't think they contributed hugely -- I'm not good at exams, which is why I opted for dissertation). These days, that dissertation could be easily faked.

Unless you require hand-written answers in exams, which as a #dyslexic person I couldn't do, I don't see how in-person non-viva exams help much.

I am not a big fan of #Cher but all the pointing and laughing about her #Grammys mistake seems to ignore that she's #Dyslexic, so reading a card which says Luther by Kendrick Lamar is understandably confusing.
Much as I love catppuccin I do not joke it's taken me years to learn how to spell it correctly. This pun is not #dyslexic friendly

@chrisnelsonsdog ...for a #dyslexic, who thinks in #images, it's very hard to convert the image to text...#AltTxt

Except I'm not sad about it, I've sent typos before and I'll do it again. Who's going to stop me? The grammar-police? πŸ˜œπŸ˜‚

Love this! In my research, I discovered Made By Dyslexia's signatures:

I’m #MadeByDyslexia – expect creative thinking & creative spelling.

I’m #MadeByDyslexia – expect big thinking & small typos.

I’m #MadeByDyslexia – expect curious ideas & curious spelling.

All very true about me, as a proud #dyslexic! Now which one do I choose.

Reading partition tables and figuring out what to delete and modify using obscure commands is probably the last thing a #dyslexic person like me should do.
I know people pride themselves in having the expertise... but honestly I just hope I won't spend a day reinstalling because of a typo πŸ™ˆ
On the flip side the cats are keeping me company regardless of how badly I mess up 😸😸😸
