Anyone have experience creating catalogs for @magnusmanske 's https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mix%27n%27match ?

Looking at doing a something like https://mix-n-match.toolforge.org/?#/catalog/427 but from a live RSS feed by national contributions (i.e. recently created / updated New Zealand names).

Many items have multiple IDs: all have P244, some P214, P213, even wikidata Qs. Feels like I should be able to add a separate column for these, but can't see it. Can I really only just bung them in the description?

I'm also in a position to create QuickStatements to create a wikidata item if not present, but can't work out how to add them to the spreadsheet.

Mix'n'match - Meta-Wiki

Today in #metadata #librarian land: My inner 12 yr old is giggling at more BDSM metaphors in #authoritycontrol. I remembered the "Harvard workaround" minimizing scripting tasks. Sometimes I think I should hire the original artist again to update the infodiva.com logo with leather & whips. Kidding.

Welcome @tadirah ! May I immediately pose a question?

We are currently looking into how to use the #TaDiRAH taxonomy for tagging tools in #Wikidata. As it happens there is a TaDiRAH property (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P9309), which, however, seems to be intended for mirroring the TaDiRAH taxonomy on Wikidata. There is only a grand total of 9 items in Wikidata tagged with this property and was established in 2021 by Adam Schiff (not that one) from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Would anyone at @tadirah be willing to support creation of a different property for classifying tools, methods etc. through referencing TaDiRAH URIs?

"The need for the precise identification of objects, persons, events and locations online increases with the number of search queries and the amount of data. #Wikidata is an answer to this need. Another answer lies in the interest in the standards of the German authority file, the #GND. #AuthorityControl, as practised by Wikidata and GND, support the process of #linkeddata and the construction of a #semanticweb that links items according to their meaning." #LOD
