Anyone have experience creating catalogs for @magnusmanske 's https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Mix%27n%27match ?

Looking at doing a something like https://mix-n-match.toolforge.org/?#/catalog/427 but from a live RSS feed by national contributions (i.e. recently created / updated New Zealand names).

Many items have multiple IDs: all have P244, some P214, P213, even wikidata Qs. Feels like I should be able to add a separate column for these, but can't see it. Can I really only just bung them in the description?

I'm also in a position to create QuickStatements to create a wikidata item if not present, but can't work out how to add them to the spreadsheet.

Mix'n'match - Meta-Wiki

@stuartyeates AFK will look into it later
@magnusmanske I think I've worked out how to do what I need.

@magnusmanske

Basically the plan is to convert the id.loc.gov XML into a 'master' CSV with all the info and then use that to build child CSVs for each identifier (P214, P213, etc). These get imported separately into mix'n'match.

By importing from RSS, I see the recent, current best practise and work backwards into the older ones with more issues until the burden of issues is insurmountable. But when any of those issues is resolved upstream, it'll pop up in the RSS and all be good.

@magnusmanske

Names without the magic http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/collection_NamesAuthorizedHeadings URL never make it into the child CSVs (although labels from them might)
