I am going to need to help a PwD set up their Director ID but the government website is APPALLING

Bad enough that the website and process are set up in such a way that the fully cognitively competent adult cannot undertake the task independently...

It seems there is no special assistance available for the physically disabled although the website "aims" to be accessible - how thoughtful *eye roll*

It certainly doesn't achieve it 😬

Note to Government: phones don't work for everyone!!!!!

And the NRS is not the optimal alternative for all people.

If you really want to funnel EVERYONE through just one or two communication methods then you need to make those methods as inclusive as possible
