Foreign Facebook pages have been promoting One Nation. It wants them to stop

An ABC NEWS Verify investigation uncovers a raft of foreign Facebook accounts targeting Australian users. And they're just the tip of the iceberg.

@parismarx.com there's also Minderoo Centre for Technology & Democracy. This is coming from the billionaire who is being sued by first nations ⬇️ Who funded the cashless welfare card with Scott Morrison + Tony Abbott who have ties to the #atlasnetwork: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cashles... Democracy? 😂

100%, when people complain about this #NZPol government failing to fulfil their election promises, I am always quick to point out that they are in fact fulfilling their promises and obligations to the foreign interest groups such as #AtlasNetwork and #Project25 which funded their election. The gullibility of the average NZ voter is astounding.

How the f#%k do we live in a world where people would vote for ON rather than the Greens?

Btw, in case anyone is wondering Luke Malpass is an #AtlasNetwork operative.

Next time, it would be great if you could counter Australian racism too @[email protected] such as that from the @[email protected] who is funded by and endorses Andrew Forrest, who funded Compulsory Income Management with his #AtlasNetwork pals. www.hrlc.org.au/updates/2019... #AusPol

@dmacphee Alberta is Atlas Network's biggest success?

Convincing 25% of a province within a successful liberal democracy that this success is bad?

"Atlas Network was born in this context with a clear objective: to inject the neoliberal doctrine not merely as one socio-economic model among others, but as a rationality unto itself, one capable of shaping how people perceive and interpret the world. Achieving this required depoliticizing concepts such as the free market, privatization, or deregulation, detaching them from the concrete interests they in fact serve, and presenting them instead as irrefutable truths. The chosen instrument for this purpose was what researchers Marie-Laure Djelic and Reza Mousavi call as the "neoliberal think tank."

Jason Kenney, Danielle Smith, Preston Manning, Sonya Savage, Ralph Klein all worked with Atllas to push its "well constructed ignorances (misinformation)

Atlas Network: Disinformation as a Weapon of Neoliberalism

The organization, founded in 1981, has 589 think tanks in 103 countries that finance the hatred and hoaxes of the extreme right. The objective: to protect the privileges of capital owners.

I still have trust issues with any poll commissioned by the Atlas Network. But even they must surely know that Luxon is an inadequate and unpopular man, uniquely unsuited to public service. Is pushing National into rolling Luxon the intended outcome of this poll?

Regardless, it's chilling to think that at some point, the senior group which drives the National Party interviewed Luxon for the top job. Then despite the shallow thinking, a pathological reliance on gobblydegook and his genuine lack of interest in international affairs, they still concluded "Yep, he's our man."

That's National Party values for you.
