We do an annual hand made toy show in #Asheville called #assemblyrequired

This year #assemblyRequiredAshville is FEB 7TH and 8TH at battery park hall on Haywood street. Tickets are $10 and that gets you in both days.

This will be my fifth year presenting at this show.

It is an incredible experience in a great town with a wonderful group of artists and absolutely worth ten bucks.

We've also got new tie dye cryptids, monsters, and robots. These will be available after #assemblyRequiredAshville

At #assemblyRequiredAshville this year I'll have the last few of our remaining inventory of resin cast #FunSizeHeroes (see https://retro.social/@MountainTownToys/108262017634855461 )

If we do another batch of Fun Size Heroes they will be very different!

Depending on how things go with the #SkyPirates playset, we'll also hopefully have some new Monstrous Minis and Pocket Protectors (1.5" tall Keshi style figures) and maybe also some comic book reprints, and at least one or two re-scored #silentfilms on #VHS (because #VHSIsTheFuture ).

I have less than a month to achieve all of those things, so it's a good thing that I don't have anything else to do (like running a bookstore, a record label, a recording studio, an antique mall, a television studio, a television network, a pottery production facility, a cafe, and the digital infrastructure for half the town.)

Attached: 3 images We've been doing some publishing too! We just got our first comic book in, and our second one should be here within a few weeks. We're working on an old school Sears Catalog style holiday thing, too.

Retro Social

All of these things are being made for #assemblyRequiredAshville the first weekend in Feb.

#AssemblyRequired is a hand made art toy show. Most of the folks who show up are much more talented than I am (That's not me being humble or putting myself down. I'm damn proud of the work that we do, and I am constantly in awe of how much better most of the stuff at this show is) and if you're in the area, you should absolutely try to come out.

#Asheville was devastated by flooding earlier this year and is really struggling to recover.

Most Asheville businesses are tourist supported, and tourists don't flock back to a place that has recently experienced a flood, even if that place is otherwise entirely safe (and still very fun) to visit.

They need our help to rebuild, so if you can make it out please do.
