Okay, I hate to toot my own horn, but I started with the line art for the sketch I posted yesterday and I'm honestly surprised how well this is going. I feel like I get now how this works and it doesn't look as wrong as it did in the past. Mind you it's still not perfect, but I think it really shows that I'm learning.

Okay, another lesson from my painting course done and I can finally show off the results of both this week and the last. The one on the left with the forest and the lake is from last week. I think both are not too bad, but I think I prefer the painting on the left. I could at least learn something about watercolors and that's something.

Flame May 6

Had my painting course today. It was really fun. We worked with water colors in the first lesson and I have to say water colors are kind of a bitch to use, especially when you want a specific color somewhere and you don't know how much water you need to apply.

Honestly I was afraid beforehand that I would not get anything done, but I think I got pretty respectable result out of it I think. Shows me that I should not underestimate myself so much. The painting was unfortunately still a bit wet, so I got no picture of it, but hopefully next week I can take it home with me and show it off a bit.

#artists , I know this is a long shot, but instead of complaining forever I will just ask:
Are there any artists here with #MEcfs #longcovid #fibro or energy limiting illness, or those who are aware what this is like, that know how to practice mark making when essentially almost bedbound?
Because obviously i can't have the "objectively" good posture and do the whole drawing from the arm thing when half lying propped up on pillows, in bed, with my tablet in my lap.
If anyone else has any ideas I welcome them.
My lines (and generally, fundamentals) are shit and I want to change that.
